Well the street parade was great, as was having the Morris Minor Car Club of NSW (11 Morris Minors in the driveway)and 28 people at my place for lunch Saturday 6 March.
But Sunday saw Rain Rain and more Rain. The Morries needed low range to extract themselves from the showground.
Still we have rebooked for next year.
Highlight for me was meeting up again with Peter Jackson from Old Era Services Ph 02 6558 2987.
He had some Morris panels on display and I was particularly impressed with a full commercial chassis leg on display. Peter can make any panel for Morris Minors. Yellow Ute Red Ute Blue Ute

The black MM (bitza as i call it - 850 mini motor with 948 crank, 1000 gearbox, MM diff) is owned by Keith and Helen Capps of the Cowra club. Is a really nice car owned by 2 of the nicest people you will meet.
Helen has a bad leg, so was unable to walk around in the wet, so they went home mid morning.

They did say though (with tounge in cheek) they weren't happy that the Morris club was there. Every year they take their model A Ford, but for the past few years there has been a pile of A models, and very few Morris'.
So this year they take the Morris. No Model A's, plenty of Morris'!!!
