Has anyone retrofitted a combined indicator, dip switch, horn stalk switch from another car. I've tried a Lucas retrofit one bought in the UK from a Morris Minor spares supplier but it soon broke because it is very flimsy.

Marina switch gear fits the 1000 type column. It comes as an assembly with the wiper switch but you can split them up if you just want the indicator/horn/dip switch part.

Land Rover Defender is virtually the same as Marina & looks a bit more 'modern'. A spacer ring is needed for the column though.

The best switch to get is from a GD 626 or AT telstar from87 -91. The matching column fits like a treat. The other good thing about the switch from this model as it has the hazard switch on top of the unit rather than mounted separatly.

GC 626 or AR telstar also fit but are not populated with as much functionality as the later ones and generally have brown or orange labels on them which is not as desirable as the later ones.
