Hi and welcome

Minors built in the UK and I think New Zealand from the early 60's through to end of production have a centre dash something like the one you have shown.
You could try getting a used one from either of those places.
There are chromed end plates to go on the left and right like bookends. There are also glove box lids that blend with the centre section.

If yours is a centre-speedo model, then these would be easy to fit.

Cheers

cheers for that info.
i remember the car that we removed this trim, was a later model 4 door (had 2 master cylinders on firewall)

ive used the glove box lids that were on that parts car, and they have a crome edging, but these doors fit inside the glovebox holes, not ontop (can take pics)

I personally dont like the look of this centre trim bit, thats why its not fitted

Either this car you are talking about had some modifications or it was not a Morris Minor at all
No Morris Minors had Master Cylinders on firewall
The centre dashboard trims on series five minor were similar to yours but they were straight on the ends and yours has too many holes.
So it is not off a Minor or an aftermarket prodution Yellow Sedan Blue Ute

it had a different dash to mine, its dash was a rectangle. i think smith gauges. 4 door and the window frames were chrome. i still have the master cyliners in shed. this car was sitting in a scrap dealers yard and has now probally been crushed

So do the curved ends go right up to the glovebox openings?

They do Libbor if you have the late series II glove box ( apparently rather rare) lids that are large flat items that sit on the outside of the dash board, but if you hold it up to a 1000 dash there is a large gap between the garnish and the glove box opennings/ lids
