Hi Kieran

The postage was GBP99 for a box weighing 10.4kg which was the carpet and window rubbers, badges etc. I also have another order for the seats swabs and door trims (which have to be made to order) also weighing 11kg and so the same postage. I don't mind the cost the goods are excellent and quick to receive. I ordered everything Sunday 8th May, it was despatched Monday 9th May and it arrived Monday 16th May. You also get tracking details so you can monitor your package every step of the way. I really have nothing but great things to say about ESM, very helpful and very efficient.

Best Regards
Nancy

Hi All

Another update on Black Beauty. Things have progressed with a red stripe now down the side. What do you think? With or without?

Some more "bling" on the bonnet & boot which looks really great.

In addition to that have added the maroon binding on the doors.

Also bonnet rubbers were added along with the quarter glass rubbers.

Here are some pics:

Thanks Beastia11, Robbo & Libbor

Yes the red strip is staying. It is really getting exciting now as we start to put bits and pieces back on. I have 2 boxes of more gear from Bull Motif and ESM coming this week so that will really get Black Beauty going.

A few more weeks yet though for the seat swaps and rear quarter trims. Can't wait for those, she'll certainly be bright inside.

Hope everyone is still enjoying their Morris.

Best Regards
Nancy

Hi All

My 2 boxes from ESM and Bull arrived on Monday to much excitement. Have now put the front grill chrome mould and hockey sticks on. It is so hard to get a great pic when there is so much shine. It looks terrific in real life.

Thanks Tom,

Hi All,

An update now on BB. Have completed adding her bling to the boot so it really looks great and it closes properly and locks as well.

In addition to the boot, today we tackled the wiring. How interesting was that, and we have so far made it to finish the wiring in the engine bay and have it fed into the cabin. Ready to work on the wiring behind the dash which will be a challenge in itself.

So here are some before & after shots of the old wiring & new wiring, firewall before and after.

Well that's it for this weekend, we may get to do some of the smaller things during the week.

Hope you all have enjoyed your Morris this weekend!

Best Regards
Nancy

Hi All

Have been very lazy in updating my progress but here it is now.

Black Beauty's motor is now all together including filter pot put on, new plugs, new radiator, new hoses etc. The more she runs the more she sounds better and better.

Latest pics under the bonnet

We have also updated the hood lining by painting with a vinyl spray and it has made a tremendous difference. All the last "bling" is on, door handles, door escutcheons etc. Door frames and windows plus quarter glasses are all in.

Also some great news I received my new seat swabs yesterday and the rear seat is refitted now and in the car. (thanks to Greg for that) Just need to get the front seats fitted by an expert then they can go in too. The interior is looking great.

Not much left now, a lot of the underbelly stuff, like bushings, brakes etc to be done next.

Will post extra pics soon.

Best Regards
Nancy

Thanks Grant, she really is almost there.

Hi John, yes I contacted Andy but he wasn't able to help regarding the windscreen rubber. He advised to chase down the chrome surround, which I'm doing but no luck with that yet.

Best Regards
Nancy

One of my cars (sorry I don't remember had too many) but might have been renault 12 had a rubber that ran inside the rubber instead of chrome trim, maybe talk to clarke rubber or someone like that they maybe able to supply something similar. I remember the guy fitting it had a tool with two little wheels with a loop that the rubber insert ran through, once started he just ran the toll around the windscreen and it inserted the rubber, when you wouldn't know it wasn't once piece

Hi Blake, I can't wait to get her on the road and motoring.

Thanks Grant for the tip regarding the windscreen.

Finally a pic of the new rear seat in BB. Inside smells so nice, all new.

Best Regards

Thanks Shawn & Emily

One problem with the shine its hard to take a clear pic.

Next on the agenda is getting the front seat swabs put on. Have a couple of people to contact to have this done. Then the interior is complete except for a new parcel shelf.

Still working on getting the front split screen in. Have been chasing the chrome surround which is needed to spread the new rubber so it fits like a glove.

Hope everyone else is still enjoying their Morris.

Best Regards
Nancy

What a stunning job you both have done. Big ups to hubby who looks as tho he could walk into any paintshop and get a job.

A absolute credit to you both.

I now think i might paint one of mine black now......A black traveller? (not anywhere near worthy of pics yet) I think it would work.
