Hi all Morris Minor and Morris Car owners
We are looking forward to seeing you all at this wonderful day celebrating the Morris Minor. As we had
93 Morris Minors at the last Day of the Morris Minor it would be great to see 100 this year. The venue is
Caribbean Gardens. Entrances: Ferntree Gully & Stud Roads, Scoresby, Victoria 3179. Entrance fee of $2.50 per person. I believe there is a concession entrance fee available.
The program for the Day of the Morris Minor is as follows:
 9.30am Morning tea (provided)
 10.00 to 11.00am Registration (registration fee of $5.00 per vehicle, if you bring a second vehicle it will be free)
 11.00am to 1.00pm voting for the following Morris Minor categories (By people’s choice)
1. Light Commercial. (Panel Vans, Ute’s)
2. Convertibles. (Any Year)
3. Series 2 Cars.
4. Series MM. (Low Lights)
5. Series 1000 Cars.
6. Travellers.
7. My Overall Favourite Vehicle.
8. Best Morris Car. (non Morris Minor 1948 to 1972)
 2.00pm
1. Trophies for the winners of the above categories given out.
2. Drawing of the lucky car prize.
3. Committee’s choice prize (For whatever the committee thinks needs celebrating.)
4. Dave Warren Trophy (Best maintained Vehicle.)

I'm amazed that there are so few bonnets raised!

What a great array of MMs! At first it looked as though LCVs dominated.

Still in the age of steam, Frosty?

Monk, the bonnets were up and down like a brides nighty, it was a bit wet to leave them up all day.
I think the final count was about 76 cars, sadly the weather kept a lot away as it was a typical shi**y Melbourne Spring day. Four seasons in one day. Windy and as cold as a witches tit, raining, then sunshine.

Still I had a fun day all things considered.

I would Normally get a hair cut to go to Bathurst so that I don't get mistaken for a feral (not you Trev Very Happy ) and sent to the top of the mountain.

But I am not going this year so couldn't justify the expense

regards Grumpy
