I haven't fitted one yet to my morris, but have had lots of experience with other cars - you can go two ways suck or blow, with blow sitting on the outside and suck on the inside, I have found many new fwd cars have rather large a/c condensors fitted (in dia) but they are quite thin, I would go around the wreckers and check out whats avail 2nd hand. My work daewoo has an offset to the right fan ie motor mounted far right with a plastic shroudover the rest of the radiator - this may work on the inside

Thanks Grant,
I have taken a look, and most of the wreckers seem to have fans that are fairly thick. I think someone mentioned a Mitsubishi but I have yet to find on intact at the local wreckers. I know Scott has one fitted, I was just curious as to the appx diameter and thickness of the unit.

The Landrover and Daewoo units are thinner than the aftermarket models I have found.
Thanks for the help. Now I know what I need to look for.

Scott,
Is there a bit more room in a lowlight than a later Morris grille? A quick look with a tape measure shows that I have (generally) about 1.5" (appx 40 mm) of clearance in front of the radiator.
With changing the vertical support bars and possibly shaving off some material from the back of the grille bars, it is possible to pick up another .5" (appx 14 mm) of room in there? (I can also extend the radiator mounting holes back by a few mm)

I have a Marina radiator in the sedan which is a bit thinner than the Minor one which would make a difference.

Thanks Scott,
I imagine that I can squeeze it in there somehow...
