Happened to come across a wonderful display of over 80 old classic cars, motor bikes, trucks, old farm tractors and free standing engines (all working) at the annual Broke Country Fair held yesterday.

The display even contained around 6 Morries mainly exhibited by the Hunter Morris Minor Club. Chatted a while to Ian who is a member of the club and this forum, who pointed out that the display of the classic cars continues to grow each year. It's his understanding that there is no fee to show your car. They like everyone else is advised by word of mouth and flyers from the organisers about the event each year, and just rock up to show their vehicles.

For those who do not know where Broke is, it is a small town north of Wollombi and about half an hour out of Polkolbin in the Hunter Valley(follow the Broke Road).

It really is worth a look and something to put in your diaries for next year !!

Where was my camera when I needed it ??

We were coming back from a weekend visiting the wineries in the Hunter Valley and accidentally came a cross the Country Fair on our way home.

I don't normally take a camera when I go tasting wines (much safer that way)

So unfortunately I don't have any photos to post Embarassed

I'll know better next time !!
