Hi all,

My current Minor is a 1970 Traveller.

My wife and I brought her from the Morris Minor Center in Bath.
We spent several months touring the UK in her. When we came home we shipped her back with us, that was Jan 96.

When she arrived here she failed a RWC, so she has sat in the garage waiting for me to fix her up.

Just over eight years ago, I took her to a bodyshop to get rebuilt.
I finally picked her up about a month ago.

She has had her engine and gearbox rebuilt during this time, as well as her complete body, including all new timber and most panels.

all I have to do now is rebuild the suspension, brakes, plumbing, electrical, rear axle and trim.

cheers
Moray

I had a good weekend car wise.

I fitted the refurbed engine steady bracket and new rear gearbox cable.
I replaced one of the captive nuts for the gearbox crossmember and also painted inside the chassis rails.

I also fitted new bushes to the freshly painted brake pedal, and also to the chassis rail, it's now ready for fitting along with the new clutch pedal.

I also wirebrushed and painted the torsion bars. and have just finished painting the front suspension arms with por 15.

Last week I painted the new trunnions, and drained and refilled the oil in the front shocks. Hopefully this week I will get a chance to refit the front suspension on the passenger side. I have to fit the new master cylinder and brake lines before fitting the suspension on the drivers side.

I will try a post a few pics this week.
