Hello and Happy 2019 to all. Can anyone tell me what trafficators would have been standard on my 54/55 Aust built pickup? Bill.

I'm not sure the commercials ever had trafficators fitted from the factory. I know the 1000s had a control box to activate the brake lights as indicators at the same time the sedans were still using trafficators but I have a feeling the Series II might not have had any at all, possibly due to commercial vehicle rules at the time (remember trucks having the mechanical hand on the drivers door?)

I think earlier models did have trafficators however most 1960 to 63 models had a either a relay that flashed the brake lights or very late had twin filament parkers and a added yellow rear light. My 1962 Ute had the added yellow rear light.

My 55 ute does not have them. Has mini tail lights and blinkers fitted higher up. The original stop lights still attached as well

Whilst having a break from the 40 plus degrees in my shed I have looked up some books.
My Commercial Workshop Manual shows trafficators in the wiring diagram for Series 11 Export only. However footnote says "not on vans"
Russel Harvey's book on the commercial shows them on very, very early Post Office vans only where they have a mounting block to bring them out to clear the van back.
