Grabbed an opportunity to take my car for a run yesterday but alas heavy rain started and wipers would not work.
Once home checked the electrics which differ from original as I have fitted a relay and found all in order, next I removed the wiper to the bench a mongel of a unit to remove.
I pulled it to pieces polished an undercut the commutator cleaned and lubricated and then re fitted after bench running.
It now runs very smoothly a job worth doning as it has not been out of the car since 2004
