|
|
Hello. Can anyone help me with a copy of the workshop manual section that covers the dash for a Series II (1954) please. My LCV workshop manual appears to have nothing on this any while I dont need it for complete disassembly, I will certainly need it for putting humpty back together in due course. Many thanks, Bill at wxcroucher@gmail.com

Thanks Frosty, its a great manual and will certainly be a great help going forward. Though I was hoping for something that shows and explains what the purpose is for all the knobs, etc are for as many were missing or not connected on mine and then there are others under the dash that may have been added later. I look forward to what John turns up. Thanks again. Bill.

Hi Frosty, thanks so much for this. Mine is speedo in front of driver. Looks like the knobs originally had a letter on them. So can you help with the couple of switches under the dash? ALso, there is a light in behind the grill to the right of the ash tray. Thanks again for this info. Bill.

You should have 2 lights behind the 'waterfall' grille, one for high beam (usually red), the other to illuminate the ignition key (green).
From new, there was only one switch under the dash, for the aforementioned dash lights.
All but the very first cars had knobs with the letters. Your car should have the brown type although the black's are completely interchangeable (and easier to find).
